Effect of Organic Manures and Chemical Fertilizers on Maize Productivity and Soil Properties in the Winter Season

Field experiments were conducted at the National Maize Research Program Rampur, Chitwan, Nepal, during two consecutive winter seasons of 2018/19 and 2019/20. The objective was to identify impacts different sources nutrients on growth yield parameters maize soil properties. experiment laid out in a randomized complete block design with three replications twelve treatments. Combinations organic inorganic sources, including recommended dose chemical fertilizer, use farmyard manure, poultry vermicompost, mustard oil cake, green bone meal, made. Different nutrient levels significantly influenced grain yield. maximum yields 7102 kg/ha (2018/19) 6985 (2019/20) obtained combined application 50% (RD) fertilizer along oilcake rate 5 t/ha, which par (6970 6535 kg/ha) sole t/ha. It can be concluded that performed best when N, P2O5, K2O fertilizers t oilcake/ha application, followed by oilcake/ha. Soil properties, namely matter, found improved due fertilizer. Thus, subtropical conditions, integrated manures enhance properties increase productivity season.
